GREETINGS FROM THE SF PENINSULA is an invitational group exhibition featuring contemporary landscape and autobiographical work by exceptional established and emerging artists who live and/or work here. I met these artists in a variety of ways including open studios, Filoli Art Walk, nonprofit gallery exhibitions, and articles in our local media outlet the Half Moon Bay Review. Six of the artists walked into the gallery and introduced themselves! And one of the artists, Sam Perry, is my husband (represented by Rena Bransten Gallery in San Francisco). Mediums include painting, works on paper, textiles, and sculpture. Including Brian Bounds (Burlingame), Deborah Corsini (Pacifica), Sandi DaRoza (Hillsborough), Candace Plummer Gaudiani (Portola Valley), Ming Jan (San Jose), Oscar Lopez (Pacifica), Yunan Ma (San Carlos), Glenda Mahoney (Half Moon Bay), Sam Perry (Woodside), Jennifer Roberts Almodova (Half Moon Bay), Jane Rosen (San Gregorio), Lis Scarpace (Belmont), and Na Omi J. Shintani (Half Moon Bay). The exhibition will be on view July 20 - September 1, 2024, with a reception for the artists on Sunday, July 21, from 1 - 4.
