ADRIENE BUSCH

Adriene Busch’s sculptural textiles incorporate wool, nylon, cotton, recycled sari silk, yarn blends, velvet, hemp, flax, and upcycled clothing. She made the jump from embroidery to weaving when she fell in love with the loom, eager for the larger scale options it provides.

Busch’s work was recognized by the Redwood City Parks and Arts Foundation (RWCPAF) when she was included in its 2023 annual juried art exhibition, on view in the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative (CZI) community space for one year.

Busch grew up in the desert landscape of Arizona and is constantly captivated by the lushness of the San Francisco Bay Area. She lives and works in San Mateo.
